Meet our school horses
Spud Gracie Diesel Samba Colby Shelby
The Spiritwood school horses are wonderfully gentle and well-behaved. They are easy to work around and do their part to help students learn to ride. Let us introduce them by name.
Spud

Spud is the perfect combination of a Quarter Horse and a Warmblood! He is a super smooth ride and a sweet, willing boy. Spud has shown successfully in Dressage, Eventing and Hunter shows.
Gracie

Gracie was a very successful Hunter competitor before she retired to be a school horse. This chestnut mare is beautiful and, as her name suggests, very graceful.
Diesel
Diesel is a beautiful dark bay gelding. Diesel loves to jump, but he is as gentle as his name is strong.
Samba
Our steady, black Quarter Horse mare, Samba dances through her days and has taught hundreds of children to ride. Samba has shown successfully in Dressage and Eventing with young riders.
Colby
Our palomino gentleman and a favorite of the beginner and adult riders.
Shelby
A sweet black and white paint mare. Shelby is great with both young and adult beginners.
